Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik seeks Consultant for Final Evaluation of SELARAS Project

Save the Children in Indonesia is changing for the better.  We’ve begun to build a national organisation that aims to be
a strong, local, and self-sustaining voice for children in Indonesia namely Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik Tunas Cilik.  To this end, Yayasan has been designated as a “Prospect Member of Save the Children” which focuses on strengthening and localizing our voice
for children in strategic middle income countries. Currently Save the Children’s programs in Indonesia is implemented by Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik. We work in eleven provinces,
have staff of approximately 300 local professionals, and programming in Child Protection, Education, Health and Nutrition, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Humanitarian Response. We are currently seeking to fill the following position:

CONSULTANT FOR FINAL EVALUATION OF SELARAS PROJECT

The objective of this consultancy is:

In general, the consultant should conduct final evaluation which aims to:

  1. Help country office and stakeholders to identify and understand the achievement of the Intermediate Results and Overall Objectives and underlying factors;
  2. Synthesis 
    the extent of successes to date and identify key problems and underlying factors that need to be addressed to achieve Intermediate results and Strategic objectives.
  3. Determine to what extent the project is relevant and how effectively it is being managed and implemented, and whether the project is likely to achieve Intermediate results
    and overall strategic objectives. In this sense, the evaluation will
    review performance of
    strategy(s)
    to achieve Intermediate Results
    and input delivery mechanisms (i.e.
    agreement on village midwives-TBA
    partnership, the use of village facilitators, Posyandu, support for hand washing station,
    training materials,
    etc) and
    assess the need for any refinement of the strategy and implementation arrangements
  4. Understand stakeholders’ views on or perception of project interventions, i.e.
    what is working and
    Why.
    what adjustments need to be made
