Join The Development Cafe’s expert roster for short-term advisory assignments across Vietnam and Malaysia:

A) Digital Transformation & Green Growth Specialist

10+ years in MSME digitalisation and green or low-carbon industrial development in Southeast Asia; twin-transition strategy, GHG inventory or resource efficiency program design; Vietnam ecosystem knowledge an advantage.

B) Sustainable Agriculture & Inclusive Business Specialist

10+ years in climate-smart or organic agriculture and inclusive business model design; smallholder value chains, agricultural carbon or sustainability assessment, public-private partnership structuring; Vietnam strongly preferred.

C) Digital Trade & E-Commerce Policy Specialist

10+ years in digital trade policy, e-commerce regulation or FTA digital chapters; regulatory gap analysis of trade agreement provisions (RCEP, AANZFTA, DEFA, CPTPP); ASEAN policy process experience.

D) Trade in Service Specialist

10+ years as trade economist or lawyer in trade in services, GATS and FTA services schedules, restrictiveness assessment (OECD or WTO-World Bank STRI); RCEP or ASEAN services commitments experience.

E) Trade Facilitation & Rules of Origin Specialist

10+ years in FTA utilisation, Rules of Origin compliance and customs procedures in ASEAN; SME-facing trade guidance products and training; RCEP RoO and Malaysian certificate of origin processes strongly preferred.
