BACKGROUND

To strengthen community-based maternal and child health services, the Reaching Impact and Saturation for Epidemic Control (RISE) program, in collaboration with the Directorate of Family Health, supports Posyandu cadres to conduct effective household-level outreach in RISE intervention areas. A key component of this approach is the implementation of structured home visits targeting pregnant women, postpartum mothers, and children under five.

During home visits, cadres are expected to:

• Conduct basic health screening.
• Deliver key health and nutrition messages; andIdentify early health risks
• and refer cases as needed.

To perform these tasks effectively and consistently, cadres require access to
standardized, complete, and user-friendly equipment. The availability
of Posyandu home-visit kits is therefore essential to ensure accurate screening,
informed decision-making, and improved quality of services delivered at the household
level.

This procurement aims to fulfill that need by providing complete and standardized kits to all Posyandu supported by the RISE program.

OBJECTIVE

The objective of this procurement is to provide high-quality, standardized Posyandu home-visit kits for use in RISE-supported areas. Specifically, the procurement aims to:

1. Ensure Posyandu cadres are equipped with essential tools to
   conduct accurate and consistent health screening during home visits.
2. Standardize the quality and completeness of equipment across all Posyandu to support reliable service delivery and data collection.
3. Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of home-visit activities through the
   provision of durable, easy-to-use, and field-appropriate tools.
4. Provide two (2) complete home-visit kits per Posyandu to ensure operational continuity, including rotation and backup use during field activities.

EXPECTED OUTPUT

The expected outputs of this procurement are:

1. Posyandu home-visit kits procured and assembled in accordance with approved specifications and quality standards.
2. All Posyandu in RISE-supported areas receive two (2) complete kits each

As a result, Posyandu cadres will be fully equipped to conduct standardized and effective home-visit activities in their respective communities.
