About Genotype Health
Genotype Health is a profit-for-purpose clinical genetic testing and counselling company. We make high-quality, clinically grounded genetic screening accessible across Australia and Southeast Asia, pairing accredited laboratory testing with genuine genetic counselling support. Our Indonesia operation, based in Tangerang, is growing quickly, and marketing sits at the centre of how we reach and educate the people who can benefit from our services.
Role Purpose
We are looking for a capable, self-directed Marketing Manager to own digital marketing across our Australian and Indonesian markets. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role: working with the company Brand DNA and Marketing Strategy you will design and build the campaigns, run the analytics, and produce much of the creative yourself. You will work confidently with AI-driven marketing tools to move quickly, and you will keep everything we publish in Australia compliant with the rules that govern advertising of health services and tests.
It suits someone who thrives with autonomy — comfortable taking charge of the marketing function, setting direction, and delivering results without close supervision, while collaborating closely with the Country Manager and clinical team in Indonesia and the Founder in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and campaigns
- Design and own the digital marketing strategy for both the Australian and Indonesian markets, tailored to each audience and regulatory context.
- Plan, build, launch and optimise multi-channel campaigns across paid and organic channels (search, social, email, and WhatsApp, which is a priority channel in Indonesia).
- Develop messaging and creative that is warm and engaging while remaining clinically accurate and on-brand.
Affiliate and partnership marketing
- Identify, establish and manage affiliate and referral partnerships to grow reach and lead volume in both markets.
- Negotiate partnership terms, set up tracking, and manage ongoing partner relationships and performance.
Analytics and performance
- Set up and maintain analytics, tracking and reporting across channels and campaigns.
- Analyse performance data to understand what is working, report clearly to leadership, and continuously improve conversion and return on spend.
Creative and content
- Produce graphic design and creative assets in-house — social, web, email, and campaign collateral.
- Use AI marketing and design tools to accelerate content production, testing and personalisation while maintaining quality and brand consistency.
- Work with clinical team in Indonesia and Australia to produce written content such as articles and blog posts.
Compliance
- Ensure all Australian-market marketing complies with applicable health-advertising rules, including the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code and TGA requirements, AHPRA advertising guidelines for regulated health services, and the Australian Consumer Law prohibitions on misleading or deceptive claims.
- Work with the clinical and leadership teams to substantiate claims and ensure marketing is accurate, evidence-based and appropriate for sensitive health topics.
- Apply equivalent care to Indonesian-market advertising standards and platform policies.
Skills and Experience
- Experience: 3–6 years in digital marketing, ideally including campaign management across multiple channels and markets.
- All-rounder: able to span strategy, execution, analytics and creative — comfortable being hands-on across the full marketing function rather than specialising narrowly.
- AI-tool fluency: confident and current with AI-driven marketing and design tools, and quick to adopt new ones.
- Graphic design: strong practical design skills and the ability to produce polished assets independently.
- Data-literate: comfortable setting up tracking and turning analytics into decisions.
- Self-directed: able to work independently, take charge of the function, set direction and drive initiatives to completion.
- Bilingual: professional fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, written and spoken.
- Compliance-minded: diligent about advertising standards, particularly in a regulated health context.
Desirable
- Experience marketing in healthcare, diagnostics, life sciences or another regulated sector.
- Familiarity with WhatsApp-based marketing and conversational/messaging channels.
- Exposure to SEO, AI search optimisation, marketing automation and CRM tools.
What We Offer
- A genuine ownership role with the autonomy to shape and lead the marketing function across two markets.
- A meaningful, profit-for-purpose mission improving access to genetic health.
- A growing, collaborative team and the opportunity to build something from an early stage.
How to Apply
To apply, please submit your CV, a short cover note outlining your salary expectation, and a portfolio or examples of campaigns and creative work you have led.
